Weekly Wrap Up: February 4-11

Despite the fact that I drove to the vet four times this week, I finally received some good news. After I took Piper in for an ultrasound, the vet told me the results were a million times better than she thought they would be. His liver is inflamed, but there’s nothing else wrong with him. So she put him on some medication that should take down the swelling and he’ll be feeling better soon.

On a happy note, his 18th birthday is in about three weeks so now I’m focusing on brainstorming presents for him rather than constantly travelling to the vet. Any ideas?

Books I Reviewed This Week:

The Final Spark by Richard Paul Evans – My Review

The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater – My Review

Shadowsong by S.Jae-Jones – My Review and Blog Tour

Avatar: The Last Airbender (Graphic Novels) – Mini Reviews

Books I Read This Week:

Zenith by Sasha Alsberg and Lindsay Cummings

The Wish by Debra Ansing

Everless by Sara Holland

Wow this is impressive! Well my recommendations would rather be contemporary romance right now so I don’t know if you’d like to read them but I just finished two ARCs The Smallest Part by Amy Harmon and In Harmoni-y bu-y Emma Scott. Recommend? Oh yes!

Glad Piper is doing alright and excited for his upcoming birthday!! I haven’t seen any adorablely cute dog toys ideas lately but I’ll keep a lookout for adorable Piper. 😉 And looks like it was a great reading week, Kyera!! Can’t wait to see what this one has in store with you.

P.S. Target has the buy 2, get 1 free sale again. 😉

Not yet. I have to research more. XD I had already preordered a few books at Christmas time with the deals and Target didn’t have the few I was quite looking for yet so it made it interesting. XD

Oh that’s so exciting! I recently reread the series, but haven’t gotten to Heavenly Fire because I have too many library books out at the moment.

OMG. I just realized my kids have never seen Avatar and now I feel like a parental failure. They would love it. You had a great book week and I’m glad the puppers is okay!
