      I actually enjoyed it. It wasn’t what I expected and even though I had some issues with it – it was interesting and I liked it.

        Do you read lots of mermaid/pirate reads? How do you feel it compares to others in that genre from this/last year? Lol sorry lots of follow up and I’m debating purchasing this title.

        I loved Daughter of the Pirate King last year. Even though I enjoyed Sea Witch and the cover is gorgeous, I doubt I would ever re-read it so I probably won’t end up buying it. I borrowed it from my library, personally.

    I really need to read the Three Dark Crowns series. It’s been on my TBR list for ages, but I never seem to find the time to get around to it.

    There’s a novel called “The Witch Elm” coming out tomorrow that I’m really interested in. It’s about a man who is assaulted by burglars and moves to his ancestral home to recover. While there, he finds a skull in the trunk of a tree, and starts to discover new things about his family’s past. I’m looking forward to reading it.

      YYYEESSSSS! That would be amazing. I have an estimated 2 week wait on the audiobook from the library, so the plan is for it to happen this month.

    I STILL HAVEN’T READ TWO DARK REIGNS!! I want to wait a little longer so that I’m closer to the last book, but I’m afraid spoilers are gonna be rolling out soon! Great wrap-up!

      Oh yes, you’re definitely going to want to read the next one immediately. That’s what I’ve recommended to people, but it’s soooo tough when there might be spoilers.
