I hope everyone is having a fun Colombus Day weekend (if you ‘celebrate’ that) or just a nice weekend (if you don’t). I’m excited for a season full of pumpkin patches and apple picking. Last night, I went to a haunted house type place and it was super fun! What do you guys have planned for autumn or Halloween?

What books did you guys read this week, any new favourites? I’d love to get more recommendations as if my TBR pile isn’t big enough already! What fandoms or mythologies would you like to see me cover? I really need some recommendations. Any reads on your autumn TBRs? Books you’re looking forward to in 2018? Anybody getting close to their Goodreads goal for 2018? Let me know in the comments below!

Hi! I just found your blog. I was laughing a bit because here in California, they call Columbus Day “indigenous people” day…like seriously? Poor Columbus….

Really? That’s so fascinating! I served in the Peace Corps and their “founding” day was also called Indigenous People Day.

I served in Guyana (South America) for 27 months as a Literacy/Education Coordinator, but I spent most of my time writing a grant, building, and establishing a library there.
