Not Good Enough Tag

You only have one more spot on your spelling bee team, who would you pick to complete your team?

Cath (Fangirl) vs. Eliza (Eliza and her Monsters)

Cath, just because I think Eliza would freak out being thrown on stage to perform in a spelling bee and Cath would be able to handle it better.

Both characters want to kill you, which one would you kill first so that you have a better chance of surviving?

Batman (Batman: Nightwalker) vs. Maxon (The Selection)

Batman sounds like a much fiercer opponant than Maxon, so sorry Dark Knight…

You’re on the Bachelor/Bachelorette and you’re down to these two characters, which one are you going to give your rose to?

Androma (The Androma Saga) vs. Iseult (Truthwitch)

Iseult is my choice. I don’t think I even need to give reasons.

You’ve been chosen for the Hunger Games, who would most likely volunteer in your place?

Jace (The Mortal Instruments) vs. Rose Hathaway (Vampire Academy)

They’re both self-sacrificing so either one would do it but I think Jace is more likely to.

 You’re stranded on an island, which character would you sacrifice to engage in cannibalism?

Ronan Lynch (The Raven Cycle) vs. Percy Jackson (Percy Jackson)

Ronan, sorry bud but although you can dream up incredible things… the son of Poseidon is the better bet.

 You’re the next DC/Marvel Superhero (with your own TV show, of course), who is your sidekick?

Magnus Bane (The Mortal Instruments) vs. Alex (Magnus Chase)

Magnus Bane would be the sparkliest and sassiest of sidekicks, obviously he wins.  Alex just has the sass.

You’re a manager of an avocado admiring company, who would you fire for lack of communication skills?

Manon Blackbeak (Throne of Glass) vs. Helene Aquilla (An Ember in the Ashes)

Neither of them are great communicators, but I think Manon would ensure that everyone admired those avocados whether they wanted to or not.

You’ve just finished a book in which your favourite character dies, which character is most likely to comfort you?

Thomas Cresswell (Stalking Jack the Ripper) vs. A.I.D.A.N. (Illuminae)

Obviously Cresswell. I think A.I.D.A.N would come to the conclusion that my heartbreak over a fictional character is a fault that must be eradicated.

Ugh, it’s High School, who would most likely be part of the popular clique?

Newt Scamander (Fantastic Beasts) vs. Emika Chen (Warcross)

They are legitimately both terrible choices for this question. There’s even an actual quote in the Fantastic Beasts movie:

Newt Scamander: People like you, don’t they, Mr. Kowalski?

Jacob Kowalski: Oh. Well, I’m, uh, I’m sure people like you, too, huh?

Newt Scamander: Not really, no. I annoy people.

So I want to pick Newt, but I guess maybe Emika?

The day has arrived; you’re finally a year older! Who would have the nerve to forget your birthday?

Apollo (Trials of Apollo) vs. Kitty (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before)

This is not even remotely difficult. Apollo. Kitty would have done a billion amazing things for my birthday and Apollo would be surprised that I even have a birthday. Obviously he is the only one special enough to have something like a birthday.

 You’ve just found an up and coming Booktube star, who would it most likely be?

Kaz Brekker (Six of Crow) vs. Wonder Woman (Wonder Woman: Warbringer)

Wondy for sure. Kaz has no time nor an inclination for telling the world about his book obsessions.

 Sleepover time! Unfortunately you can only invite one person, who would you invite?

 

Leo Valdez (The Lost Hero) vs. Rhysand (ACOTAR)

What kind of sleepover is this? I mean Rhysand, yes, obviously, but Leo is fun. It would be a really fun sleepover.

 Bam, you’re pregnant. Who’s the father/mother?

Carswell Thorne (The Lunar Chronicles) vs. Hermione Granger (Harry Potter)

Thorne. Hermione would never be that irresponsible. Irresponsible on the other hand, is Thorne’s middle name.

 You’ve just written a super important text. Who would ‘see’ it, but not reply?

 

Fire (Graceling) vs. Will Herondale (The Infernal Devices)

Will would never be that rude, obviously Fire is the more likely candidate. (Although it could be either because they’re so baffled by technology.)

You’ve just woken up and it’s time for breakfast. Your mum’s been replaced by whom?!

Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles) vs. Shazi (The Wrath and the Dawn)

I think Shazi is more mom material and more likely the better cook, sorry Cinder.
