The Friendship Profile Challenge

Welcome to the first tag in forever…. because I am swamped with school. I figured I should try to get back into them though so I hope to have one every few weeks at least.. fingers crossed?

Basically, the lovely Mandy and Shania switched up the dating profile idea with one about friendship (and of course books) that bloggers could do to introduce themselves to their readers. So they created The (Blogger) Friendship Profile Challenge, which was inspired by Bumble BFF. And their goal was “as with the rest of #MMM, is to make it easier to find people in the blogging community to connect with. So often I don’t know: is this blogger interested in making friends or do they have “enough”? Would we vibe or should I just amble along? Hence: the Friendship Profile Challenge!

I hope you enjoy it as much as I’m sure I will! And don’t forget to check out Mandy and Sha’s original post here.

Rules

  • tag the creators @bookprincessreviews
  • make the pledge that you are interested in making new blogger friends
  • answer each questions as fully as you want
  • tag at least two other bloggers you want to get to know better

Kyera @ Kyera’s Library

Here have a picture of me (and my best friend) as giraffes. That counts, right?

Name: Kyera (key-eh-rah)
Location:
New England or my own imagination, depends upon the day

My Pledge: My name is Kyera, and I’m interested in making new blogger friends, even with the school craziness.

I enjoy: (check all that apply)

✅Twitter chats

✅ Insta chats

✅Wordpress comment threads

Other:

Expand on that! (optional): I’m not super chatty in general, but apparently I’m quite verbose when corresponding electronically (much to the chagrin of some of my coworkers who receive library updates haha, although others say they love the detailed updates, who knows?) So I’m down for some comment thread fangirling over things?

I like to talk about: Fantasy, science fiction (and science fact, haha), geeky stuff like tabletop games, video games, comic books, cosplay, and conventions, also dogs. Let’s talk about dogs. My obsession with Atlantis and other ancient historical things, plus mythology. Oh and writing.

Conversation Starters: “I have this adorable and floofy dog, would you like to see it?” – or – “Who is your favourite deity in the Greek Pantheon?”

Find Me: Instagram | Twitter | Goodreads |

I tag the following people to do this #MMM post:

Literally anyone who would like to connect with more of their fellow bloggers, or readers.. like you, yes, you right there!

And of course, even if you weren’t tagged please feel free to do this tag and let me know. I would love to read more of these ‘get to know you’ type posts so that I can connect with more bloggers and readers out there.

Please, use the comments to introduce yourself. Are you looking for friends in the blogging community? Let me know!

Ahh thanks for doing this tag Kyera! I never knew you liked video games. What kinds do you like to play? I’m all for PC games, mostly simulation type, but I’ll never say no to a racing game or any kind of Mario (classic!).

I was pretty exclusively console gaming, but Alex wanted to turn me onto PC gaming (except I have an iMac so that limits what we try, but we’ve been playing elder scrolls online for a few months now). My go to’s are RPGs, but also adventure or music based games, followed by racing I guess (so much racing in HS on my Xbox, but not much since). Any Nintendo/Mario game is fun though too!

If I had to list some faves: assassins creed, kingdom hearts, Witcher, tomb raider, elder scrolls, dragon age, fable, and rock band. Back in the GameCube days though it was super monkey ball with my cousins. Haha.

I got into Dragon Age two years ago and am so in love. I started with Inquisition, which makes no sense chronologically but long story short, I played it as a trial and decided to continue where I left off. When I get back to Canada I want to buy Origins and actually start from the beginning.

Back in HS I was into Kingdom of Hearts and Assassins Creed (don’t have that console anymore, so can’t play it).

My only problem is that since I have a Mac, not all games work on my computer – but if there are any that you play that also work on Mac, we should play sometime!
