This is the box that my mom decided to buy me for my birthday, since the wait was so long the anticipation just built – so let’s see if it lived up to my expectations!
Spoilers follow beyond this point.
Spoiler Card by Taratjah
As always Taratjah’s art is beautiful!
Narnia Map Travel Cup by Ink and Wonder Designs
Fairy Loot Exclusive
Yes and yes. I mean you can never have too many travel cups and this one is absolutely gorgeous!
Fictional Places Art Print by FictionTea Designs
Fairy Loot Exclusive
I’ve always wanted one of these signs made out of wood in the garden, but this is super cute and I want to hang it on my wall.
Magical Beasts Luggage Tag by Lovely Owl Books
Fairy Loot Exclusive
Oh yes, I shall be using this the next time I go on vacation… maybe I should plan one of those.
Black Enamel Pin by Taratjah
I own way too many pins as it is (you don’t even want to know about my Disney pin collection), but this is just so precious and I am soooooo excited to have it.
Carpe Diem Notepad by Little Inklings Designs
Fairy Loot Exclusive
I love the quote which is from the Darkest Minds, but the barbed wire just kind of looks like spider webs to me and with the black, white and orange theme this just looks like a Halloween notepad.
“I’m Going on an Adventure” Tote Bag by Stella’s Bookish Art
Fairy Loot Exclusive
I am completely in love with this and have used it every day since I got it. It’s the perfect size and feels pretty sturdy. The quote is from the Hobbit, which I love (but so far no one has noticed that. What kind of library do I work in?)
Bonus The Fates Divide Bookmark and Ace of Shades Button
Double-sided bookmark for The Fates Divide and this Ace of Shades pin.
And the moment we’ve all been waiting for: the book!
Beyond a Darkened Shore by Jessica Leake
First, I 100% guessed the wrong book but since this is about mythology I am also 100% on board for it. I’ve never heard of this book before, have you? If you have, let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
There is also a signed bookplate that you can add to your book, a Fairy Loot bookmark with this month’s art on the back, an art print and candle inspired by the book, and the Fairyscoop Newsletter, which has an interview with the author in it as well as the spoiler for May’s box.
If you subscribe to Fairy Loot, are we reading buddies? Let me know!
I accidentally combined my old and new Fairyloot box into one before I took a photo of my Fairyloot buddy card… so I apologize if this is old, but let me know if we’re reading buddies!
May’s box ‘Save the Kingdom’ went up for sale on April 5th, but I didn’t get a chance to make this post until super late so sorry guys!
This box is inspired by stories that involve saving the kingdom (all in a day’s work, right?). You’ll find stunning items inspired by An Ember in the Ashes, The Winners Trilogy, The Remnant Chronicles and Throne of Glass.
The book we are featuring is a fantastic new release where the main character is a traitor with secret magic powers and has to save the kingdom. It’s the perfect blend of magic, romance and epic fantasy – we cannot wait for you to read it! It will also come with a signed bookplate, a letter from the author and other goodies. We are so thrilled to reveal that the copy we will be featuring in this box is a FairyLoot exclusive and will have special SPRAYED PAGES! This means that the pages will have a special colour (like the hardcover copy of Six of Crows and our special edition copy of Strange The Dreamer). It is seriously stunning and we are so excited for you to see it!
We are working with a variety of artists and creators this month and they have created some truly fantastic items for you guys. For now, all we are going to say is this box will have an exclusive BOOK SLEEVE! We love using book sleeves because they keep books in perfect condition, and the design on this book sleeve is divine! Stay tuned for more reveals on our social media platforms. We hope you’re as excited for this box as we are!
What book do you think will be in June’s Fairy Loot box? Have you ever ordered from Fairy Loot before? I always coveted them from afar, but finally took the plunge and I’m afraid I can’t go back. It was such a great unboxing experience despite the cost.
What was your favourite item in the box? I adored everything but the tote bag is my favourite. I’ve used it everyday since I got it.
Let me know what you thought in the comments below!
