Science Fiction – Top 5 Tuesday

Science fiction is second only to fantasy for me, so this was really tough! I am also not entirely sure where dystopian falls, is it its own genre? Is it a subgenre of science fiction? I’m so confused that I ended up with a Top 9 Tuesday.

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme that the lovely Bionic Bookworm does. If you are interested in doing any of her topics on your blog she welcomes it! Don’t forget to check out her upcoming topics if you’re interested in participating in future Top 5’s! Be sure to check out her post here!

My Science-Fiction Books/Series:

The Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

Cinder Bookstagram

The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

Scythe by Neal Shusterman

These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner

Warcross by Marie Lu

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

My Dystopian Are They Sci-Fi Runner-Ups (I’m Not Sure So They Get Their Own Section) Favourites:

Legend by Marie Lu

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Divergent by Veronica Roth

Do you have a favourite sci-fi book or series? Do you consider dystopian to be sci-fi or not? Let me know in the comments!
