A Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzie Lee
There are so many books, but this one is currently giving me all the feels. I love it.
Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard
But honestly, if you thought this book had too much drama to keep track of… don’t even watch the show.
Will Herondale from The Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
Come on guys, who doesn’t love a Herondale?
First, I don’t know any off the top of my head but I’ve heard from a certain someone that their ship from Zodiac didn’t sail.. and now I’m curious, so maybe that one? Also.. I’m sorry, but I don’t agree with the Jelena thing.
The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare
Or I guess I should say the Shadowhunter Chronicles in general because I am consistently impressed by how much her writing has improved over the years.
Hermione Granger from Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
There are a lot of really great, strong female characters out there, but Hermione is my girl.
When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon
There was so much cuteness in this, even though it was meant to be a cheesy, romantic, trope-y book – it also turned tropes on their heads.
The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
This series delivers a lot of really powerful messages, but I think the one that you don’t have to be the typical, bold hero to save the day and to be your best self are the best ones of all. Cress is not that typical heroine, but she plays her part and finds her bravery. Cinder isn’t confident, but she finds her voice and fights for her people. Thorne is a bit of a rake but finds out that he can be more.
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas
I enjoyed the Throne of Glass and was dubious that I would enjoy this series as much… and I ended up liking it a lot more.
This is tough because there are ones that I didn’t like quite as much as the hype would leave me to believe, but I don’t really feel like that qualifies unless it’s a 1 or 2-star review for me… which none have been.
