I saw Wonder Woman this week! It was so good and made me feel so much girl power. She was the perfect candidate for the first female superhero solo flick. Nothing else that happened this week even mattered after seeing that movie. If you haven’t seen it yet, please go!
Books I Read This Week:

Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare

The Tales Of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling
I’ve been so excited to re-read Harry Potter this month, but the Wizarding World Book Club still hasn’t provided any further information… so I decided to read this for now (and probably Quidditch Through the Ages Next). Be sure to read my review here.
Windfall by Jennifer E. Smith
This was a cute contemporary and a great read for the summer. I’ve never read a book about someone winning the lottery, especially not a young adult novel so this was an interesting premise. Check out my review here!
I’m Not Your Manic Pixie Dream Girl by Gretchen McNeil
This was a cute contemporary, but you have to wait until next week for the review.
Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia
I absolutely fell in love with this book, but you’re going to have to wait for a review until next week. Sorry!
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
What’s a re-read of the entire Shadowhunters Chronicles without the book that started it all? Alas, this is yet another review you must wait for until next week.
Kill All Happies by Rachel Cohen
Yet another review that you shall have to wait until next week for it to be posted.
Currently Reading:
City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare
One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus
Wizarding World Series:
Beauxbatons
This week I talked about the books that students from Beauxbatons might enjoy. We learn so little about the Wizarding School that makes its home in the Pyrenees – but I always wanted to learn more. Be sure to read that post here!
Other Bookish Posts:
Sadly, I’ve yet to think of another weekly bookish post, any ideas?

Alas, no one has tagged me for anything this week but I have been creating my own.
What books did you guys read this week, any new favourites? I’d love to get more recommendations as if my TBR pile isn’t big enough already! What Wizarding School do you think I’ll be featuring next week? Any reads on your summer TBR? Let me know in the comments below!

Yeah, my flight home is in 27 days – it’s crazy!!! I’ve been away for 27 months. I imagine it’s going to be super hectic when I get home, seeing everyone and stuff.

Less than a month! How exciting! But at the same time it must be hard to leave the place you’ve been for so long. Hopefully things aren’t too chaotic when you get back home lol

Honestly, it’s going to be hard to leave the kids. They keep telling me how much they’re going to miss me. And the library I spent the last year and a half building, and organizing.. but I’m ready to go home.

I don’t doubt it. That’s why I couldn’t be a teacher. Too many close bonds with little ones. Is there a way you can communicate with them when you get home? Letters or emails?

My mom keeps telling me to buy a bunch of stamps and leave them so that they can send letters… I had them writing letters with my Aunt’s grade 7 class in the US but they’re not very good about actually writing the letters. But I was also thinking of giving them an email so that they could email me. Some of them have computers at their house that they could use do it. I’ll figure out something!
