Book Review

What Doesn’t Break
Dark, lyrical, and emotionally heavy—What Doesn’t Break is all about atmosphere. It wasn’t quite what I hoped for, but it definitely left a mark.
-
Rebel Witch
A gripping sequel with tension, romance, and just enough rebellion to keep the pages flying. I didn’t love it as much as the first—but I still couldn’t put it down.

🎧 Audiobook Review: Artefacts of Ouranos
The story had its moments—but the audiobook narration dragged it down. If you’re eyeing this series, read it instead of listening.
-
Tale of the Heart Queen
After four books of build-up, the finale feels rushed, convenient, and emotionally flat. A neat ending, but not a satisfying one.
-
Fate of the Sun King
Though the plot remains easy to predict, the fast pacing and dramatic romance keep the story engaging. Not deep, but definitely bingeable.
-
Rule of the Aurora King
This sequel ups the stakes with more court intrigue, but don’t expect surprises—it’s another familiar, trope-filled ride that stays comfortably in its lane.
-
Trial of the Sun Queen
A predictable but entertaining fantasy full of trials, tension, and romance. The writing isn’t amazing, but it’s easy to fly through and fun while it lasts.
