The comics continue to explore the awkwardness, exhaustion, and weirdness of modern adulthood — from anxiety spirals and burnout to introvert life and seasonal moods. Andersen’s signature style remains charming, and the humor leans more wry and self-aware than laugh-out-loud, which fits the tone perfectly.
While this volume doesn’t feel quite as sharp or fresh as the earliest entries, it’s still a comforting read. It’s the kind of book that feels like a soft nod of “same” rather than a punchline — and sometimes that’s exactly what you want.
