Fate of the Sun King by Nisha Tuli
Artefacts of Ouranos, #3
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4)
Fate of the Sun King continues the trend of being predictable yet oddly addictive. The plot follows a familiar structure, and I was able to call several major developments early on—but that didn’t stop me from flying through it. The pacing remains quick, the tension is consistent, and the romance continues to be a central hook. Some characters get a bit more emotional depth here, which adds interest, but the world-building still feels surface-level. It’s not a series that immerses you in a richly detailed setting, but it does keep you turning pages.
This installment doesn’t drastically shift tone or style, but it does build on the momentum of the previous two books. If you’re here for the drama, magic, and romance, this delivers more of the same in an entertaining way. The writing is functional, not fantastic, and the story sticks closely to the tropes it’s inspired by—but if you’re enjoying the ride so far, you’ll likely have fun with this one too.
