Why would I ever want to quit a book?

There are series out there that I started reading and never ended up finishing – like the Lorien Legacies. I just sort of lost interest after a while and cannot remember what happened after the first book, so I probably wouldn’t go back to re-read them just to finish the series.

Fallen by Lauren Kate. The cover – gorgeous. The book? Meh. I read them and was just so ambivalent. But I wanted that outfit.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

I’ve read the Harry Potter series so many times. The fact that there still is magic and you notice new details makes it my pick for this prompt.

An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir, for sure.

Throne of Glass started off meh for sure, but then Abraxos joined and for that reason only (okay, maybe a little Manon) it’s great… but only because of Abraxos.

A book/series that you would kill for.
I mean… I don’t think I’d kill so – none of them?

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone because that was my favourite book as a kid.

That depends upon the day. The list is so long…

I don’t know that there are any I would flat out refuse to open?

Leigh Bardugo? Cassandra Clare? Rick Riordan? Depends if we’re talking books, merch, or all of the above? I mean yes, J.K. Rowling but only for Harry Potter… none of her other stuff so I feel like it doesn’t quite count.

What character/s from the Shades of Magic trilogy would you like to see have a spinoff?
I liked Kell or Alucard best, but honestly the magic battles/competition was my favourite so just more of that.

If you could rule one of the four Londons, which one would you rule?
I would go with Red London, since they have magic and aren’t consumed.
