FairyLoot Unboxing – Resilient Royals (July 2020)

Which resilient royals do you think were picked for this box?

K-Squared Book Reviews – Honest book reviews for readers from readers.

Resilient Royals

Crescent City Pillowcase

Super good quality, gorgeous design – companies always seem to favor a red theme for decor (and obviously I know this one matches the book) but I don’t have a room or library that ever matches bright red stuff. When I get my own house, I’m going to have to make one room red-themed just for my bookish stuff. It’s ridiculous. Haha.

Winter – Inspired Tray

Mine was a rough texture like the outer layer didn’t get laid down properly, but other than that the tray kind of looks vintage and I like the birds. I honestly don’t know what else to say.

Wallet

This is awesome. It lets you carry a couple of cards around with you and has an inner pocket (either for more cards or cash). You could snuggly get about 5-6 cards in there, or one in each sleeve, one in the middle, and a little cash (3 total) where they’re loose enough to easily grab when you need them. Usually, you can barely get cards into or out of tiny wallets like these, so this one is great!

The Ash Crown Candle

This black currant tea candle smells really good, but I haven’t read this book yet (so I don’t know if there’s any relevance to the smell)!

Woven in Moonlight Bookmarks

I love animals, so cute illustrated ones as bookmarks (especially that llama) – yes!

The Bear and the Nightingale Art Print

Another book I haven’t read. Looks like a very cold, wintry place… no wonder they’re so close to each other. He just seems like he’s concentrating very hard on reading your thoughts. Basically, didn’t know what else to say about this well done art print so I decided to randomly babble.

Shades of Magic Tarot Cards – Kell, Lila, Rhy, and Holland

I don’t… love these illustrations. The artwork in the back with the different Londons – amazing. The characters – meh. I love this series so I wanted more, I guess?

Shielded by KayLynn Flanders

Honestly, I’d never heard of this book before I got it in this box. Anyone excited for it? Want to let me know why they’ve been waiting for it to come out and/or why they loved reading it?

Author Letter and Art Print

The candle smells really good, but my favourite item this month is definitely the card holder. It’s so well made and actually fits cards plus some cash in it (unlike a lot of others where you can barely squeeze one or two cards in it).
