I love the moon. I love astronomy and space in general, so this theme was super exciting to get! You can never have too many celestial items. Right?
Full Moon Magic
Shatter Me Tote Bag
I really need to read this book. I already knew this, but I love this bag and I feel pressured. Also, one of my friends saw fanart of Juliette and Warner and texted it to me asking if it was Alex and me. (This picture by the way.) So now I feel extra pressured to read it.
Yup, I’ve already worn it! I love that it is simple, but pretty.
Moon Phase Bamboo Banner (and Quote Bag)
I love this. I also have a metal hanging moon banner from UO that I’ve had for years and just can’t figure out where/how to hang it up. Now that I have two, I really need to find a nice place to display these (or really places.)
Remus Lupin Puzzle
Love the art on this one and I’m tempted to crack it open during quarantine to puzzle!
Oscar Wilde Quote Notebook
This is awesome and I love that the notebook hinges at the top. As a left-handed person, this is wonderful, so thank you Owlcrate! The style just makes me want to throw it in my backpack and take it on a hike with me so I can sketch animals and write my musings.
Full Moon Magic Enamel Pin
This is inspired by the owl in the book, so now I want to know more about said owl and if (s)he will be my favourite character.
Bone Crier’s Moon by Kathryn Purdie
The sprayed edges are a little spooky and magical, but I love the ‘zoomed-in’ look of the cover because I get to appreciate one of my favourite illustrator’s work a little better.
I love that they include playlists now and I add them every month, they’re a cool and unique addition to the box.
This was one of those really nice boxes that you don’t have to love every book, author, or fandom included and as long as you’re a fan of moons – you’ll probably enjoy this box. I think that’s one of the best ways to craft a box. (Even though I obviously love fandom heavy stuff too, not everyone does.)
I love everything and I’m not sure I could pick a favourite item, so I’ll go with the book again.
Do you have a favourite item in the box? Let me know in the comments!
