FairyLoot Unboxing – Rulebreakers (February 2020)

If you heard the theme was “rulebreakers” who do you think would be included on the list of books/series/characters? I think that the first group that would come to my mind are the Dregs, sadly they’re not included. I’m curious who you guys thought of first!

Serpent and Dove Mug

Everyone seems to have loved this first book, so I decided to start reading it this week to see what I’ve been missing out on. The mug is gorgeous, too.

Sorcery of Thorns Scarf

I loved Sorcery of Thorns when I read it last year, so I am definitely excited for things inspired by it. Scarves are cool (Fairyloot sent me my favourite one, the Shadowhunter rune one so long ago) but I’m not sure if I can pull off how shiny it is. I’m not a shiny person. Haha.

Lord of the Rings Luggage Tag

I love the Lord of the Rings, but I feel like this luggage tag will scare people away from your bags with its imposing eye of Sauron. Maybe that’s the point?

Nevernight Bookmarks and Sticker

I know there are people out there that are obsessed with this series, but I haven’t read it yet. Sorry. I just think that if you love the series (or Jay Kristoff, looking at you S) then you’d be pretty disappointed by the paper goods?

We Hunt The Flame Art Print

Hmm. Another book I haven’t read yet. Man, I’m really slacking this month.

Strange the Dreamer Tarot Cards – Sarai and Lazlo

Always an amazing job with these cards. The one thing that I will say is that I wish they had given them a slightly waxy finish so that these could actually be used as tarot cards, rather than just the heavy paper they are. Some of mine have warped just from the humidity and I’ve kept them stored in my fake book box (also courtesy of Fairyloot) since I first got the box and them.

The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller

This book is such a gorgeous shade of purple with the rich black accents, the art on the inside, the embossed cover, ugh everything. So pretty. I love it!

Author Letter and Art Print

There are so many pictures to go with the book this time!

My favourite item this month? The book, for sure. Followed closely by the tarot cards and the mug and the two red portraits and I’m undecided about the scarf. Wait, is that too much>
