I’ve seen some pretty amazing things in LitJoy Crate’s Magical Edition series, so when I read that there would be a BookBeau in this one… I knew that I wanted to try it out.

Keep off the Dirigible Plums Socks
Although they are not my color, they’re pretty unique and I will definitely wear them (she writes as she wears Out of Print’s Book Nerd socks).

This mug is super cute, even if they look like their 11 year old selves rather than 17.
Sword of Gryffindor Pen
This kind of reminds me of Percy’s pen, when I use it will it actually turn into the Sword of Gryffindor?
The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore “Book” Journal
I love the idea of this and it’ll be so cool on my shelf with my other “real” Harry Potter books like Tales of Beedle the Bard, Quidditch Through the Ages, etc.
Ron’s Deluminator Candle
I can imagine a deluminator would be difficult to make, so I guess a candle is the next best thing?
Dumbledore Quote Pillowcase
I’m just not a fan of this texture of pillowcase. It’s just not comfortable, because it’s not actually soft and it almost has a grating texture. Impossible to describe, just trust me.
Invitation to Bill and Fleur’s Wedding
The idea is cute, but the functionality is non-existent. You have to break the seal to see it and then what, display it on your bookshelf?
Tales of Beedle the Bard BookBeau
Obviously, this is amazing. Look at all of the little nods to the stories with the chopping block, the fountain, the hopping pot, and the three brothers. Can you spot them all?
Hedwig Plush (Ornament?)
The owl is so cute and plush, I’m obviously in love with her and the bag.
Hermione’s Beaded Bag (for Jewelry)
I had to read the spoiler card to know that they meant this to be a travel pouch for jewelry. Such a cool and unique item!
Godric’s Hollow Puzzle
It’s been at least a decade since I did a puzzle, but the idea is still cool and you don’t see puzzles too often in book boxes (I think I’ve only received one before).
Magnetic Bookmarks
Hagrid and Harry, Dolores Umbridge’s Door, and Death Eater Lucius Malfoy
I’m not sure that I’d want a door as a bookmark, so this is probably a bigger letdown than some of the items just because I think they could have gone with better subjects for these bookmarks.
Blanket Map of Important Places in Harry Potter
This would be amazing if it wasn’t so tiny. It’s smaller than your typical throw blanket, which I think is 50 x 60 inches, this seems like a child-sized blanket to me. (I was curious so I looked it up on their website and it is 40-inch x 42-inch.)
Snitch Enamel Pin
If you look closely you can see that it says “I open at the close” and has the resurrection stone inside it when you “open” the snitch pin. Really cool touch!
Playing Cards
Hermione, Hedwig, Ron, Hagrid, and Molly & Arthur
I’m kind of sad that this is the first Harry Potter crate I’ve gotten because that means I don’t have any of the other cards, but if I’m only going to get one set this is a pretty cool collection of characters.
How much attention did they pay to the Deathly Hallows in order to pick such cool and unique items? Clearly a lot. Obviously, I am enamored by the book sleeve and will be using that as much as possible.
