Super random but I just love the art for this month’s theme… guy with bow and arrow? Yes. Girl with bird? Can I have the bird, please? Girl with cool hair and outfit? Yes. Broody guy with hood? What are you up to? Or maybe as the theme says… it’s not what it seems and he’s actually a friendly and huggable cinnamon roll, not broody and mysterious at all. He just doesn’t really want a tan today.

Things Are Not What They Seem

An Ember in the Ashes Pillowcase
Laia is super pretty in this, but Helene and Elias look a little off I just don’t love them – and the typography is gorgeous!

The Lunar Chronicles Cutlery Set
Super cool and unique box item! So we received a fork, spoon, and chopsticks. A knife would have made this complete, but I bet that would have made it difficult to ship. The fork and spoon have quotes on them and the chopsticks have a little moon at the end.

Graceling Hair Scrunchies
I never knew that I needed hair scrunchies that were green with swords, blue with keys, and red with …. but I did.

Lord of the Rings Mirror
I actually like little mirrors like this, so I’m happy to have a new one! (My current one is Alice in Wonderland.)

Thomas Cresswell Candle by Flick the Wick
This smells like chocolate and coffee, so it’s not my thing but the other people I let smell it really liked it!

Mistborn Metal Bookmark
Metal bookmarks are super cool and this one is no exception – although I haven’t read this series yet. Should I?

Harry Potter Tarot Cards
Hello Hermione and Harry! These are cute although I want to know what potion or liquid is spilling from jars behind Hermione, is anyone else curious about that?

This is one of those kind of squishy pencil cases. I like it.

The Merciful Crow by Margaret Owen
I’m actually reading this book right now (like 30 minutes left in my audiobook)! It’s pretty good and I love the unique world, but I won’t say more until I’m done and I write a review.

Character Art from The Merciful Crow
This super cool art is on the inside of the dust jacket.

Favourite item this month? I love how unique the cutlery set is! I haven’t used it yet, but I’m going to have to go with that, closely followed by the book and tarot cards.
