FairyLoot Unboxing – Magic in the City (July 2019)

I’m not all about cities, but I am on board for magic and if I happened to stumble across magic while I was in a city I wouldn’t be mad – so I am excited to dive into this theme!

Magic in the City

Diagon Alley Necklace – Bookmark’d Tattoos

This is a pretty cool necklace! It reminds me so much of Diagon Alley in Universal, so I feel like that dragon should be getting ready to breathe fire.

Shadowhunter Mug

I love these mugs (I use my Manon and Abraxos one everyday), so I was super excited to get this! Unfortunately mine had a broken handle when I received it, but Fairyloot support was wonderful and I had a new mug within a few weeks! (Honestly, they have such wonderful support people and care about their customers a lot.)

Coin Purse

I’ve never read The Girl At Midnight before, never even heard of it to be honest – have you guys read it and did you love it? Should I check it out?

Princess of Disi Candle by A Court of Candles

I don’t know who this Princess is, please enlighten me guys! I’d love to discover a new book (or series)!

Percy Jackson Pin Banner

This is a pretty amazing pin banner… there’s a pegasus, some nice color blends, and I think this should turn into my dragon pin banner (I have a lot if dragon pins…) or maybe just mythical creatures in general? And let me know if you guys would like a post about my bookish pins (enamel pins, not the pinback buttons)!

Wicked Fox/Kitsune Coaster

I was really confused about this one, because it’s made like it’s a patch but it has little rubber ‘feet’ on the bottom. So it is definitely a coaster, but it’s the weirdest coaster I’ve ever received. That being said, it might be absorbent so it may also be the best coaster I’ve ever received, who knows until I try it!

Fortune Cookie

I mean, I’m allergic to this but I’m also so tempted to find out what my destiny or fortune is. I don’t even know what’s supposed to be inside the cookie!

Harry Potter Tarot Cards

Luna is the moon and Ron is the sun, but can we just focus on tiny little adorable Pigwidgeon for a moment? Clearly the star.

Wicked Fox by Kat Cho

I’ve been super excited about this book since I heard about it (libraries!), so I am in love with this gorgeous teal (and sparkly) sprayed edition.

Character Art from Wicked Fox

This is not the same art print quality (or I should really say, style) that I’ve come to expect from subscription boxes. It just makes the characters look a lot younger than I expect they are in the actual book.

I’m torn between the pin banner and the mug as my favourite item in the box (although as always I love the tarot cards.)

Do you have a favourite item? Have you ever subscribed to FairyLoot before? Let me know in the comments below!
