Spoilers follow beyond this point.
Spoiler Card by Taratjah
As always Taratjah’s art is beautiful. I need to hang these up somewhere.
‘When People Say Impossible They Usually Mean Improbable’
A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab
Wall Hanging by Reverie and Ink
This is really pretty, unfortunately, it has a spelling error on it. Fairy Loot was so kind, they immediately sent out an email apologizing and assured subscribers that a new one was going to be sent out at no cost.
Prince Elian Candle by Nerd Poured Candles
It’s so sparkly! I haven’t read to Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo, but that is what (or who) this candle is inspired by. It smells like Sea Mist and Musk,
‘Why Is The Rum Always Gone’
Pirates of the Caribbean Water Bottle by KDP Letters
This is super cute and pirate-y, plus who doesn’t love the phrases that come out of Captain Jack Sparrow’s mouth? They’re just so ridiculous and funny.
Pirate Wax Seal by Fairyloot
I love wax seals, so it’s pretty fun to get a pirate themed one and I’ll have to send out some secret messages with my new seal on them.
Pirate Magnet by Miss Phi
I don’t really use magnets, but this one is pretty if a little awkward to try to read with the type layout as it is.
King of Scars Sample and Poster
I’m so excited to read this book when it comes out, alas, for now, I must just stare at this lovely folded poster.
These Rebel Waves by Sara Raasch
This is an exclusive edition with green sprayed pages!
Sweet Peet Sugar Scrub Soap by Geeky Clean
They promise it won’t actually dissolve internal organs, but you’ll get it when you read the book.
Plant Card
Art Card of Characters
I look at this and think, when did Kylo Ren and Rey become pirates? I cannot see anything else.
Letter From The Author
I apologize for the shine, I really should just start scanning this stuff so that I get a decent image.
The book is signed by the author, rather than being a signed bookplate that you can add to your book.
There is also a Fairy Loot bookmark with this month’s art on the back, and the Fairyscoop Newsletter, which has an interview with the author, Sara Raasch, in it as well as the spoiler for September’s box.
If you subscribe to Fairy Loot, are we reading buddies? Let me know!
September’s box ‘Star Crossed Swoons’ is now up for sale so be sure to go to Fairy Loot’s site to grab it before it sells out!
Do you love your books with starcrossed lovers? Characters that make you swoon? Rich tales and lush descriptions? Then this box is perfect for you!
This box features items inspired by Twilight, Strange The Dreamer, A Court of Thorns and Roses, Shadowhunters and Shadow and Bone. There are some really amazing items in here that we have NEVER included in previous boxes! All we’re saying is: prepare to swoon and fangirl/boy.
Our book pick is from a fantastic debut author and the story follows a girl whose survival depends on being the perfect body double to a cruel princess – expect allure, danger, disguises and swoon-worthy romance. It’s got everything! We are so thrilled to reveal that our edition will have an EXCLUSIVE COVER, SPRAYED PAGES and will actually be SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. How awesome is that?
What book do you think will be in September’s Fairy Loot box? (I am sure I know what it is and I’m intrigued by the book, but I don’t want to spoil anything for people who don’t want to know.) Have you ever ordered from Fairy Loot before? It is such a great unboxing experience despite the cost.
What was your favourite item in the box? I adored everything but the book or the wax seal would have to be my favourites.
