Apparently, everyone at my mom’s work was sick of seeing her face, so they basically told her to go on vacation somewhere. Since my library was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday for Independence Day, we decided to drive to New Hampshire for some quality time with nature. If you don’t like nature (*gasp*), you can scroll through the photos until you get to the proper book haul.

I went zip lining, which was amazing and 100% my favourite part of the trip. Then I did an aerial adventure park. You have to wear a harness and helmet, then climb over, around, through, etc a myriad course of ropes, planks, zip lines and ladders. Oh did I mention each level you progress through gets higher? It was fun, but zip lining tops it all.
Hello, same stranger from my group zipping backward! I hope to edit my GoPro footage soon so that I can have to some cool videos. But my goodness was it hot out there! After all of the activities, I just had to go swimming and then get ice cream. Yum!It was my first experience with AirBnb, but the place was only minutes from all the places I wanted to go, so that was nice. The second day I ventured to Flume Gorge in Franconia Notch National Park. It was formed thousands of years ago by glaciers and number of tenacious boulders.
It was so gorgeous hiking through the woods, but the various water features were my favourite. There was a waterfall, a 40-ft deep pool, water cascading over a rock tabletop and more.
I went swimming, again. Sadly not at the Gorge as that was not allowed, although that didn’t stop the water from just misting everywhere and making you feel like you half took a shower. After some climbing over and through rocks and caves, I sadly had to head back home.
To my surprise when I got home my mailbox was jammed full with six, count that six!!, individually sent books from Book Depository. I was excited and decided to do a (not so) quick haul post! So onward to the books!
