This week I read Blackfish City (which was meh, but still decent) and Daughter of the Siren Queen, which I liked a lot for the most part! I’m now on a thriller/mystery kick, so I’m going to be reading some Ruth Ware novels

Daughter of the Siren Queen was fun! I’d love to see more pirate-y YA novels.

SO intrigued to see what you think of A Whole New World. I feel like I saw an eh rating, and I definitely want to see your full review for it, because I’ve been thinking about trying it and I’m not sure about it. Wonderful wrap-up, Kyera! 🙂

I just wrote it today and I feel like it was one of those ‘more disappointing in retrospect’ books. Like you think about it and say, it was enjoyable but was it super good? Probably not.

Oh no. I saw a bit on Goodreads today, but I need to read it fully. But those always stink. Like it gets even worse the more you think about it, lol?

I am pretty sure used the term character assassination. I’m usually pretty easy on books, but Jasmine and Aladdin are my favourite. I feel like I had completely reasonable expectations.

Ahahahaha OH NO. That is not good at allllllllllllll. I felt that way with her Sleeping Beauty one, so I honestly can’t imagine how she tackled Aladdin and Jasmine. And I’m so sure you did.

Looking at the comments on the book it looks like the beauty and the beast one might be good… So I do plan to give them all a chance… And I’m really excited for Mulan.

Yes! I got myself a copy the other day. I would definitely skip her Sleeping Beauty one for sure.
