I had trouble coming up with books that needed a prequel, that didn’t already have that backstory fleshed out. I’m sure I’ll see what other people thought of and like those ideas, but for now I really only have a top three?

Books That Need a Prequel:
Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
Obviously, the prequel needs to be Marauders-centric and should have been out yesterday.
A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J Maas
I would love to see what the Inner Circle was up to when Amarantha came on the scene and before she went Under the Mountain. I feel like there’s so much story to explore there.
Shadowhunters by Cassandra Clare
We got just the tiniest bit of backstory about the time of the Circle in Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy, but I’d be really interested in reading a novella that delves more into their time and dynamics.
