Pre-Order Book Haul

I saw the lovely post that Mandy made over at Book Princess Reviews and decided to do it as well, go check it out here!

The other day, I pre-ordered two books that I am so excited about and wanted to tell you guys.. so this is the perfect excuse. Sadly, you will have to wait until the end of my post to find out what they are. Sorry, not sorry.

Ready for the books? I am ready for it to be May, because that’s when I receive three (or maybe four) of these beauties.

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J Maas
May 2nd, 2017

This one needs no introduction or discussion. Is it May 2nd yet?

The Dark Prophecy by Rick Riordan
May 2nd, 2017

What will Apollo do next, and will we see more Percy? Because that’s the important question. What is Percy doing?

Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han

This is just a cute contemporary read and I liked the pre-order promo they were doing, so I decided to add this book (although I don’t own the first two…)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling
October 3rd, 2017

9781408845660
This is the illustrated edition and I can’t wait to see the gorgeous art in it. The first two books in the series are already out (and on my shelf) so this one was a must buy.

I just ordered two books from Waterstones. Drumroll please….

Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare
May 23rd, 2017

They released a special edition of Lady Midnight last year, which I bought myself for my birthday so of course when I saw they had Lord of Shadows I knew I had to get it. This one is a limited edition run of 2,000 (unlike Lady Midnight which was 1,000) so you can still get your hands on it if you don’t mind spending a lot on shipping unless you’re from the UK.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling

This is the 20th Anniversary House Edition – be sure to check out Waterstones Harry Potter page if you want to see the other houses or their paperback editions. I decided to purchase the Gryffindor version of this book, although I debated for a week or two between it and Ravenclaw. It was a tough decision, but I felt that Gryffindor represented the classic Harry Potter colours you think of and would end up being the one I liked more. (If I were rich, I would have purchased both or the set of books that is completely themed by house although I don’t recall who sells those.)

And finally, here are some books that are currently on my list but I haven’t yet taken the plunge and pre-ordered (though I probably will, lets be honest).

Flame in the Mist by Renee Ahdieh

23308087

I loved reading this, you can check out my review here and I know I’m going to get it. There are a few bookish subscription boxes that I expect it will be in, so I’m torn between getting one of them and pre-ordering the book.

Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo

Leigh Bardugo is a queen and Wonder Woman is a goddess, so together this book is going to be incredible.

City of Bones (10th Anniversary Edition) by Cassandra Clare

I discovered it on Amazon and clearly need it, even though there is no information provided.. yet. There’s not even a picture!

Have you pre-ordered any of these books yourself? Are there any coming out soon that I missed and need? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh your haul was fantastic, Kyera!! Omigosh, now I’m so facing your struggle as well. I feel the need to go out and buy more books. XD That new Shadowhunters special edition looks epic. o.o I’m not even a Shadowhunters one, but Lord of Shadows looks SO cool. :O And clearly I’m with you about ACOWAR. I feel like I will be in ruin once that is done. XD You have some epic sounding books, Kyera!! Can’t wait see your thoughts on them when you get them. 🙂

The book struggle is always real! When I made my most anticipated list for 2017 I felt like May was so far away, so many good books were slated to come out in May and now it’s only weeks away… And I don’t know if I’m ready. I need these books, but my heart is not ready. Are you planning on re-reading the first two before ACOWAR?
