The Emoji Book Tag

Thanks to Tiana @The Book Raven for tagging me for the Emoji Book Tag! Please go check out her blog and show her some love!

Rules:

  • Thank whoever tagged you for this
  • Pick 5 different emojis to represent 5 different books of your choice
  • Tag 5 people

I’m already going to cheat and only do 4 because these were the four emoji’s that specifically spoke to me – so I went with that.

OTP:

Clary and Jace
I remember reading City of Bones by Cassandra Clare and truly being introduced to fandom. Theirs was the first relationship that I read in a book that I fell in love with and shipped.

Book That Made Me Think:

Angels and Demons by Dan Brown
I was fascinated by the mystery of the book and the gorgeous textual art for the elements. For a while, I even tried making my own (but they were nowhere as well done as those in the book). If you haven’t read it, you should definite check it out and the DaVinci Code as well!

Book That Hit Me in the Feels:

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas
This book just takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions and provides you with character arcs that just hit you so hard (which continue and get better in A Court of Mist and Fury).

Diamond in the Rough – it doesn’t look appealing but don’t judge a book by its cover

The Sword of Truth – Terry Goodkind
It’s one of those classic airport paperback’s that are so thick that the spine ends up shaped like a ‘c’ when you read it. That always hurts my bookish heart to see. But anyway! It doesn’t have one of those flashy covers that draws you in, it’s that dated, fantasy cover – but I loved the book! It got me through exam time.

Hope you enjoyed!

I’m catching up on all of these and bombarding you guys with tag posts, so I’m sorry. Anyone who wants to do this tag, go for it! My question for you is, what emoji do you use the most? Personally, I use a couple of different ones depending upon the situation.

😁 – this is me grinning like a fool, probably after I’ve said something cheeky or I’m really proud of myself

πŸ˜‘ – this is my ‘are you serious’ face when someone says something that utterly lacks common sense

πŸ˜˜πŸ˜΄πŸ’œ – I send these to my mom if I’m chatting with her on whatsapp and it’s time for bed, because you have to send you mom love

Which series is that from? I haven’t read anything beyond the 6 books from mortal instruments – I intend to someday though.

It’s from the newest series, set just after the Mortal Instruments.

I use so many different emojis but I probably use the blushing smiley emoji most, because its super cute but also really effective at the end of a sassy text!
