You had to read Check, Please for school? Isn’t that a super new release (I could be wrong). I keep seeing it on everyone’s blog.

Yeah it is. This week we had to read a 2018 Printz winner: “The Michael L. Printz Award is an award for a book that exemplifies literary excellence in young adult literature.” and a 2019 Morris finalist: “The William C. Morris YA Debut Award, first awarded in 2009, honors a debut book published by a first-time author writing for teens and celebrating impressive new voices in young adult literature.” So Check, Please and Strange the Dreamer (so in love right now) were my picks.

I love that your prof has you selecting books that received literary awards. I’ve never paid attention to lit awards before. I’ve heard such goodness about Strange the Dreamer.
