FairyLoot Unboxing – Unbreakable Bonds (January 2019)

Surprise! Another FairyLoot unboxing, this time it is their January theme: Unbreakable Bonds. So without further ado, let’s get into it!

Unbreakable Bonds

Unbreakable Bonds

I honestly had no idea what to expect from this box.

Will and Jem Candle from the Infernal Devices
by Geeky Clean

Why yes, I would like to smell Will and Jem… I mean… a Will and Jem candle.

Six of Crows ‘The Dregs’ Headband
by FictionTea Designs

I love Six of Crows and although I’m not much of a headband person… I think I’ll make an exception for this one.

Jules and Arsinoe from Three Dark Crowns Lip Balm
by Book and Nook

LotR Wooden Bookmark
by Ink and Wonder Designs

I always love the designs made by Ink and Wonder and wooden bookmarks are just super unique!

The Raven Cycle Dual-Sided Pillowcase
by KDP Letters and Monolimeart

I’m obsessed with the lettering of this pillow!

The Remnant Chronicles Hot Chocolate
by the Tea Leaf Company

This container exploded all over me when I took it out of the box. Ugh. Haha.

ACOTAR Tarot Cards

Once and Future Promo Card

The Black Coats by Colleen Oakes Postcard

Circle of Shadows by Evelyn Skye

I absolutely love the lavender sprayed pages!

School always comes first, so I hope to record an unboxing video for this in the future but for now, I just wanted to get this unboxing out in a timely fashion.

I know it’s kind of silly, but the tarot cards are actually my favourite item(s) in the box. They’re so gorgeous and I cannot wait to collect them all!

Do you have a favourite item? Have you ever subscribed to FairyLoot before? Let me know in the comments below!

Really interesting post. I haven’t heard of Fairy Loot before, thanks for sharing. I have been trying several monthly book boxes over the last year…

I do, I probably would have to say Owlcrate. But aside from book boxes, our dogs adore their barkbox, and you can’t beat BOTM for the price. What about you?

FairyLoot is definitely my favourite, but the Shelflove Crate boxes that they do for specific books/series (like their Kingdom of Ash one) has been my favourite special edition box so far!

I’ve never subscribed to any book box before. I don’t read enough popular or up-and-coming books to connect with the merch. For example … I only recognized three things in this box, haha.

Other than the fact that I was personally attacked by that chocolate (literally hot chocolate powder exploded all over my white sweater) … I haven’t read the Remnant Chronicles before, although they’ve been in boxes I’ve gotten before so I’m familiar with the name. I’ve read the rest though and will push some of them on you if you haven’t, depending upon which ones you’re familiar with.

Oh no, hot chocolate should remain in the tin. Also, what is on the sweater cannot end up in the mouth, so that’s a tragic loss.

Hmm hmm let’s see what is new to me here. Infernal Devices I don’t know. Three Dark Crowns I know *of* but not invested in reading (I heard a lot of mixed reviews). The Raven Cycle I don’t know. The Remnant Chronicles I don’t know. The others I know of, but haven’t read.

Thankfully, I don’t like chocolate so it wasn’t too traumatizing – but still, my poor sweater! Haha. The Infernal Devices is a shadowhunter book, which I would strongly recommend. I have an iffy relationship with Three Dark Crowns. I like it and I also have a lot of issues with it. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Raven Cycle. I actually really did not enjoy the first book, but decided to gave the second a chance and they grew on me in a weird way. I’ve never read the Remnant Chronicles though, so I have no recommendations.

Thanks for all the info!! I liked the Shadowhunter TV series (towards the end, the beginning was overacted) so I should check out the books.

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one to get attacked by the hot chocolate powder! 😂
