Top Books of 2018

These are definitely not in order, but they are my favourite reads of this year overall.

Top 10:

Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J Maas

Tower of Dawn by Sarah J Maas

Legendary by Stephanie Garber

A Reaper at the Gates by Sabaa Tahir

Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi

Obsidio by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

Sightwitch by Susan Dennard

Sightwitch by Susan Dennard

Wildcard by Marie Lu

Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman

Furyborn by Claire Legrand

Furyborn by Claire Legrand

Honourable Mentions:

I reread a few series this year that still deserve a mention, as well as some books or authors that were completely new to me. I figured if they weren’t published this year, then they automatically had to go to honourable mentions.

Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare

I know this would have been on my list, but I didn’t quite finish it in time to make my 2018 list… which means it’ll probably be on my 2019 honourable mentions list.

I sadly don’t read much of these, but I’m quickly scurrying over to write the list of books/series I need to get to in 2019! Totally with you on Furyborn and Wildcard! And I’m so excited about Obsidio made it onto the list, since I’m working my way there now. Fantastic post, Kyera! ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes! Gemina was hands down my fave, but I just love that series overall.

Okay, good to know. Gemina has definitely been my favorite, so I wasn’t sure if yours had magically changed.
