Weekly Wrap Up: September 3-9

I was pretty busy on my vacation, so I got zero time to read. When I had downtime, I was working on my schoolwork and writing essays. Boo! But I got it all done and didn’t have to worry about coming home to a bunch of work today. So I get to relax, unpack and get ready for a whole new work week.

What books did you guys read this week, any new favourites? I’d love to get more recommendations as if my TBR pile isn’t big enough already! What fandoms or mythologies would you like to see me cover? I really need some recommendations. Any reads on your autumn TBRs? Books you’re looking forward to in 2018? Anybody getting close to their Goodreads goal for 2018? Let me know in the comments below!

Oooooh sounds like you had an amazing week and super productive! I totally give you so much props for staying on top of everything when you’re in the most magical place on Earth. Can’t wait to see what this week brings for you! 🙂

Thanks love. I may or may not have also gone on a date today, so like actual social points for me? That never happens.

!!!!!!! Exciting, magical things are happening, Kyera. You might actually be in a YA contemorary???? You went to Disney, are killing in school, and dates are happening.

What are dates? I’m not used to this. Total awkward baby giraffe. Unused to YA contemporary life.

Ahahahaha. It is a bit of switch from your wizarding and mythology queen life. Hopefully it went well! ❤

It did, he texted me when he got home. He was super nervous apparently (and hasn’t been nervous around girls since he was 16) and I was like… but I’m me? Why on earth would you be nervous around me? Have you met me? But yeah, we did a bunch of random stuff. I do wish there were more dragons or magic involved though… (he introduced himself to me originally as a professional Draco Malfoy impersonator, obviously as a joke, but the line worked. Haha.)

Oooooooh that is definitely definitely a winning line. 😉 But yes, Kyera is very chill. Maybe your wizarding ways just gave him intimidating feels? But that sounds so cute! 😀

Haha maybe? But he even said he’d dress as Draco if I did the Harry Potter Book Night again at my library.

I know, right? I’m even working him up to sing for me. He said it’ll happen eventually.

“Decent” singing. He keeps saying, will you not want to be with me if I don’t sound like the guy from Panic (the love of my life, Brendan)?

Ahahahaha well, I mean, no one can outdo Brendan, so I mean, if he doesn’t burst your eardrums, this is good???

That would be good. Yeah. But it’s true that no one can outdo Brendan.

Ugh. His voice. I went to see him in Boston and I’m in so much love. Just the high notes, the low notes and the fact that he plays pretty much every instrument and also did all of the editing and producing for Death of a Bachelor? He also loves puppies. He did the most adorable Buzzfeed interview with puppies. Just in case you didn’t know. I like to spread the Brendon love.

Ahahahahah he is one of the only people that I know that can rock a live concert so amazing. He needs to calm down all the talent because his voice was enough and then he added all of the other things in? But I saw it but I forgot to watch. I must rectify!
