Just in case anyone wants to comment and say I mentioned a retelling, rather than a book based on mythology. There are so many that I have inevitably forgotten a few, but I tried to include a variety. I’d be happy to add some of your recommendations to the list – just let me know in the comments below!
In honour of Rick Riordan’s new imprint, Rick Riordan Presents – I decided to do a mythology recommendations post. I cannot wait to see the worlds we are introduced to in the upcoming Mayan and Korean mythology-inspired books that we will be getting our hands on in the next year.
