Monthly Wrap Up and TBR (December-January)

I read 11 books this month… I’m pleased with that but I’ve definitely done better. I also put a bunch of books on hold that are being released this month, so that will probably affect my TBR and I won’t end up reading the ones I put here.

    Tower of Dawn was such a hard one for me to get into but WOW was it amazing!!! One of my favourites of the series now!
    And I plan to do a Harry Potter series reread this year and I’m so excited for it!!

      I got it on audiobook and borrowed it from my library so that I’d feel more pressure to read it sooner rather than.. oh I own it I can get to it whenever.

    Ooooooh, we might have our one shared book for the month with Batman. I’m so eager to jump into that one. Marie Lu was so stellar with Warcross, and I’m super intrigued to see how she does with one of my favorite superheroes. Hope you get some fantastic reads in this month!! 🙂

      I keep checking my library card because obviously the book came out today but none of the libraries have actually put the book in the system yet they all just say that they’re still in cataloging, so I keep in patiently waiting for it to say in transit for me since I am first on the list. Aaaaah I need it!

        OH NO. Silly libraries!! But yessssssssssssss. You DO need it. It’s going to be so good. Mine is supposedly coming tomorrow, and I’ll be staring down the delivery people.

        Oh nice! I keep looking at all the beautiful books that I want and I have to keep telling myself that I can’t buy them because otherwise I can’t afford school… And if I don’t go to grad school then I don’t get a good job that will allow me to buy many many books. It’s a problem. So I am just going to constantly be on the library request system for the new books.

        Ahahahaha oh no. It’s like a bad cycle if you keep going on the book buying spree. So understandable, though. But yes! Not a bad system to be on, and luckily, you’re not going to go far to travel for them. 😉
