Top 10 Anticipated Reads of 2018

I’m sure I inevitably forgot some books, but I tried to figure out which ones were actually coming out in 2018 and were also high on my list.

Okay, so it’s not exactly 10 but I put 13 with the hopes that you guys will help me narrow it down! The titles I put in bold are definitely on my list, which means I want you to convince me which two of the five left should make the list! Then I’ll update this post with my official top 10! Let the book battle begin!

  8. A Reaper at the Gates by Sabaa Tahir (April 22nd)

  9. A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J Maas (May 1st)

  10. The Burning Maze by Rick Riordan (May 1st)

  11. Legendary by Stephanie Garber (May 24th)

  12. Throne of Glass #7 by Sarah J Maas (September 7th)

  13. Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare (December 4th)

    I’m with you on so many of these, Kyera!! Ugh, I’m counting down the days until Wires and Nerve, and I might have squealed a bit when I saw Batman shipped the other day. 4 – 7 has me soooooo excited, too. And I don’t know why but I always thought the next A Court was coming out in 2019?? MIND BOOGLED. Wonderful list!!

    also i finished percy, and I don’t know what to do with my life other than to order a bunch of boxed set of his other books (which is totally what I just did).

      Oh my gosh! I definitely need to do a Percy re-read. Maybe we can read the Kane Chronicles at the same time?

        Omigosh YES PLEASE. I would love to. I just ordered Kane and Heroes of Olympus, and I’m stalking my emails, waiting for it to ship…or arrive. It’s a mystery, but I would absolutely love to do that!

        and yes. have you done any of it recently? or would it be your first time reading it since the beginning or a while?

        I haven’t reread the Kane Chronicles since I first read them, at least 5 years ago. Probably longer. They need a reread.

        Oooooh okay. Intriguing. My order finally shipped, so it says it should be here on Thursday, I think. We shall have to discuss if you want to do it sooner or later. 😀

        Okie dokie, perfect! Will do! I’m kind of thinking I want to try Heroes of Olympus first, since I’m still in the Percy feel. But I’m hoping to do it after that? Will keep you super updated!

    I have Wires and Nerve 2 and Obsidio preordered! I can’t wait for Obsidio though because I want to see if I made it on the casualty list!! The rest of the list is also what I can’t wait for! So much SJM!!! There’s also a new Jay Kristoff book coming out in the summer called Lifel1k3…. its a sci-fi!!

      Oh I wanted to preorder Obsidio so much. I got in trouble, which is ridiculous because I’m an adult. I made the mistake of showing my mom and she started yelling at me… because she never wanted to even think about me dying, let alone see my name in a casualty list even if it’s just a book. Sooooo yeah, didn’t do that.
