Monthly Wrap Up and TBR (August-September)

This was a decent reading month, but to be honest I’m more excited about the fact that I finally got to Ikea for some bookshelves. I actually have a wall that is entirely covered by bookcases (and only mostly organized with books, I keep changing things.) I’ve always dreamt of having a library in my house, so I walk by and just stare a the room sometimes. I swear I’m okay.

Books I Read in August:

31213370

League of American Traitors by Matthew Landis

32075662

Our Dark Duet by V.E. Schwab

The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee

I got this book in my Owlcrate last month and I’m so excited to read it! (I’ve heard the audiobook is great, so I’ve been waiting for it on overdrive otherwise I probably would have read this already.)

Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo

I love Leigh Bardugo. I love Wonder Woman. I cannot express my excitement enough for this novel. I’m picking it up late in September from a book festival Leigh Bardugo will be attending, so I can’t read it until then (unless my library hold comes in soon).

31450852

Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas

29923707

One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake

17347384

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling

I’m so torn, do I audiobook or read?

I’ve heard the audio books for Harry Potter are fantastic! I hope to listen to them one day myself!

They are, I used to listen to them all the time during the summer! I’m not sure which ones you would have access to because there’s a different narrator for the US and UK versions.

You read so many good books in August! I actually just placed a hold for Stars Above Audiobook on Overdrive, excited for that! I’ve also been considering a re-read of the HP books via audiobook but still unsure lol. I hope you enjoy all of your September books, eeeeeeK Wonder Woman is out in the wild! 🙂

You’ll have to let me know how Stars Above is, the rest of the series is fantastic on audiobook. (I’m kind of picky about audiobooks.) You should definitely reread HP, have you listened to the audiobooks before?

We really didn’t read any of the same books. XD But you definitely read some super interesting one and the amazing TLC reread totally blows everything out the water. SO excited to see your thoughts on some of these September books!! 😀 Wonderful month and hopefully September will be great, too. 😀
