My rating: 4 of 5 stars
My Lady Jane is a terrifically enjoyable if inaccurate romp through Tudor history. The authors make the characters come alive in a way that enables them to be like able and relatable. Not everyone is a fan of historical fiction, but I feel that this book makes that genre more accessible.
The book was engaging and I finished it in one sitting. I fell in love with the characters, their world, and how everything developed over the course of the novel. Jane, Edward and G realistically grew and changed as people – from bookish to brave, spoiled to caring, and lascivious to loyal.
Highly recommended to young adult/teen readers who are fans of historical fiction, fantasy, action or romance.
